PAST EVENTS - Thank you for your support!

Our 2nd annual Seminole Pool Swim-a-thon on July 9th, 2025 was a huge success! Thank you to our swimmers, volunteers, families, and community partners who made the day so special.

This year, more than 140 swimmers participated—ranging from beginners in the shallow end to competitive team members—swimming a combined 4,500+ laps (136 miles!). The energy was incredible, with music, Kona Ice, Culver’s vouchers, and Glass Nickel Pizza fueling the fun.

Together, we raised over $11,500 to support Seminole’s new facilities, which will increase access and opportunities for all members.

A special congratulations to our Top 5 Fundraisers, who received prize baskets from Simply Swimming, with the top two also earning a bowling party courtesy of Ten Pin Alley:

  • 1st: Maggie Cohen – $972

  • 2nd/3rd: Emmy & Hadley Dorn – $600 each

  • 4th: Gabriel Pauli – $540

  • 5th: Norah O’Brien – $525

And of course, our winning 9/10 swim team age group gets the honor of shaving-creaming their coaches!

We are so proud of the resilience, motivation, and teamwork shown by our Seminole community. Thank you all for helping make this fundraiser such a memorable event!

PICKLEPALOOZA TOURNAMENT!

The inaugural Seminole Picklepalooza Tournament was a resounding success, raising over $500 for Seminole 2.0! Players brought great energy and competitive spirit to the courts, with exciting matches in both singles and doubles brackets.

Congratulations to Mark Meyer & Christopher Vergeront, our Doubles Champions, and to Christopher Vergeront, who went on to also claim the Singles Championship title!

A big thank you to all participants for making the day so fun, and an extra shout-out to our incredible volunteers, who worked behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. We can’t wait to see everyone back on the courts for next year’s Picklepalooza!

Seminole Rummage Sale!

Seminole Pool and Tennis Club Parking Lot

Friday May 2 and Saturday May 3, 2025

We raised over $7,000 toward Seminole 2.0 and generated some great connections with others in the community, with many people asking about pool membership and others reminiscing of their previous "Seminole Summers." A giant thank you to the volunteers who helped out - this could not have happened without you. A special callout to Suzanne Formanek and her son Wyatt who not only volunteered at the pool clean up days, but then moved out to help us with the rummage clean up and stuck with us for 3 extra hours of work!

There were also some of the Fundraising Event Committee that really stepped up for this Event - be sure to thank the Huber, Heggeseth and Hanson families next time you see them for all the days of work they put in ahead of time for this to happen. They also toughed out two long days at the sale, together with Crystal Nemeth (who may have helped you with her personal shopping skills). Finally, Mindy Fleming helped make drop offs happen (you may have seen her smiling face at the storage unit gate) and Emily Moenck did a little bit of everything. So many others helped in other little and big ways - it definitely took a village to pull this off. Thank you to all!

This summer season, we’ll be partnering with local pizza places and restaurants to host food delivery events where a portion of sales will go directly to the Seminole 26.5 Foundation. Stay tuned for details on participating restaurants and event dates,

We’re working on planning for next summer’s fundraising events! If you have an idea or want to lead an event, please let us know!
