SEMINOLE 2.1 UPDATE - HERE’S THE MATH - Member Email: November 6, 2025
Hi Seminole Families,
We’ve had some inquiries regarding the dollars and cents of Seminole 2.1 so grab your trusty TI-83 Plus–it’s time for some math! Here’s where things stand:
Total Project Cost: $4,000,000
Bank Loan: $1,200,000
Capital Improvement Fees and Pool Reserves $920,000
Fundraising / Donations / Pledges:
Currently raised: $752,000
Mode donation: $3,000
Median donation: $3,000
Mean donation: $7,108
Total number of donors: 100
<20% of members have donated or pledged
Still needed: $1,200,000
That means we need to raise $1.2 million from families who haven’t yet donated or pledged. We must confirm with the architecture firm by the end of this calendar year whether we can move forward to break ground next year — so pledges and donations made now directly determine if the project proceeds.
Here’s how this breaks down if spread evenly among families:
$3,000 per family, or
$1,500 per family if your employer offers a matching gift program
Want to go above and beyond?
If you’re in a position to give more, consider increasing your pledge. Additionally, even if your family isn’t in a position to donate $3,000, please give what you can. Also ask friends and family to donate to help us reach our goal. Have any contacts with local businesses? Reach out to them to ask for donations.

Project Highlight – Concessions Upgrades
In each message we will spotlight some of the exciting updates and features planned for Seminole 2.1! Based on the end of year feedback, improvements to concessions is one of the top priorities for our membership. Here’s what you can look forward to with concessions in Seminole 2.1:
Expanded Space: The concessions area will more than double in size.
Hot Food Options: We’ll have the capability to prepare and serve hot foods—helloooo soft pretzels!
More Variety: Increased storage means a wider selection of food and beverages.
Better Service: The 2.1 plan includes enhanced staffing to ensure consistent availability and quicker service.

Upcoming Fundraising Opportunities
Mark your calendar for our next giveback night on Thursday, November 20 (4–8 PM) at Noodles & Co. on Triverton Pike Dr.
Also we will need volunteers to work at our Culver’s-Verona fundraising night on Wednesday, December 3 (5-8 PM). If you can’t give financially right now, this is a great opportunity to give time instead. (And you’ll get to deliver some cheese curds and concrete mixers with Seminole Prez!) We will send out a volunteer sign up next week.
Lastly, don’t forget to follow @seminole.prez on Instagram or “Seminole Prez” on Facebook for updates as we progress to our ground breaking goal! Your support truly makes all the difference. Together, we can make Seminole 2.1 happen!
