SEMINOLE 2.1 UPDATE: THANK YOU TO OUR DONORS & HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE - Member Email: November 10, 2025

Hi Seminole Families,

A huge thank you to all the families that have made new pledges and donations this fall! Your generosity is helping us move closer to our goal. Be sure to check out our donors page to see all the amazing support we have received so far.

Pledging, Donating and Matching-Oh My!
As we work toward our fundraising goal, we wanted to take the time to explain the different ways you can participate in making Seminole 2.1 a reality.

1. Pledge Now, Pay Later
Many families are choosing to pledge their donation amount now. This means no payments are due until September of the year we break ground. The earliest your first payment would be due is September 2026. Fill out our pledge form here for this option.

2. One-Time Donations
If it fits your year-end giving plans, we gratefully welcome immediate one-time donations to boost our funds on hand. You can either send us a check via snail mail or donate electronically here.

3. Monthly Recurring Donations
Prefer smaller, ongoing contributions? Set up monthly payments here for an amount that works best for your family. For example, a donation of $100 per month over three years totals more than $3,000 and qualifies for recognition on our donor wall. Even smaller monthly donations add up and make a real difference!

4. Employer Matching Gifts
Many companies will match their employees’ charitable contributions — sometimes even doubling or tripling your impact! Check here to see if your company participates.

5. Other Giving Options
We also accept stock transfers and are open to discussing other creative donation options. Remember–all contributions are tax-deductible, as the 26.5 Foundation is a recognized nonprofit organization.

Project Highlight – 8 lane pool
In each message, we will spotlight some of the exciting updates and features planned for Seminole 2.1. This week we’re thrilled to share about one of the biggest upgrades–expanding the pool to 8 lanes!

Why 8 Lanes?

Expanded Space: A wider pool means more flexibility in our programming!

  • Accommodate more swim lessons at the same time

  • Keep open swim space available even during lessons

  • Allow for evening swim team practices without affecting open swim hours

  • Create opportunities for new programming and activities!

Faster Swim Meets

  • With 8 lanes, swim meets will move along more quickly—great news for swim team families and for everyone eager to jump back in for open swim afterward!

Upcoming Fundraising Opportunities
Mark your calendar for our next giveback night on Thursday, November 20 (4–8 PM) at Noodles & Co. on Triverton Pike Dr. in Fitchburg.

Also we will need volunteers to work at our Culver’s-Verona fundraising night on Wednesday, December 3 (5-8 PM). If you can’t give financially right now, this is a great opportunity to give time instead. (And you’ll get to deliver some cheese curds and concrete mixers with Seminole Prez!) Here is the volunteer sign up link.

Lastly, don’t forget to follow @seminole.prez on Instagram or “Seminole Prez” on Facebook for updates as we progress to our ground breaking goal! Your support truly makes all the difference. Together, we can make Seminole 2.1 happen!
