Hi Seminole Families,

Happy Thanksgiving week! We are so grateful to all of you that have made donations and pledges thus far. As we close in on our fundraising goal, every contribution — big or small — brings us closer. However, if a multi-thousand dollar pledge isn’t in your family’s budget, there are still meaningful ways to make an impact.

• Make a Monthly Donation

  • Even small recurring donations add up! Skip one latte a week, send that money to Seminole 2.1, and you’ll have given nearly $300 before we break ground in September 2026

  • Set up a recurring donation through our Zeffy account, and join other families supporting Seminole at every level. 

    • We have families with monthly donations ranging from $10-$150 dollars.

• Use Raise Right for Everyday Shopping

  • Planning on buying Target gift cards for your children’s teachers for the holidays? Or maybe a Sephora gift card for that hard-to-buy-for teenager in your life? Or perhaps you have an upcoming home reno project that will involve multiple trips to Home Depot? Project Highlight
This week, we’re highlighting the new diving well included in Seminole 2.1. The updated design features two diving boards and a separate space distinct from the main pool.

In our current layout, the diving well must close during swim team practices because it overlaps with the lap lanes. In the new design, the diving well and lap lanes are fully independent, which will:

• Improve efficiency in scheduling and programming

• Allow for simultaneous activities without interruption

• Allow for expansion of programs the utilize the diving well (ex: water ballet, dive team)

• Create opportunities for new programming we can’t currently offer

The new diving well will create a safer, more flexible, and more enjoyable experience for swimmers of all ages.  We are so excited to see how amazing the cannonballs (or bellyflops) will be in the new diving well!

Upcoming Fundraising Opportunities
We still need volunteers to work at our Culver’s-Verona fundraising night on Wednesday, December 3 (5-8 PM). Here is the volunteer sign up link (we still need more volunteers!). Spread the word as we’ll get a percentage back of ALL SALES during those three hours. Tell your neighbors or plan a team cheese curd and custard run after practice!

Thank you to everyone that participated in the Noodles Giveback last week - we made another $320 for Seminole 2.1!
